Today is an exciting day since my website is launching and this is my first official blog entry on this site. Special thanks to Jazz Hilmer for building this site with the feel and style I was hoping for.
I’ve been a freelance hair and makeup artist since 2000, working in print advertising, editorial, film, music videos and commercials. It’s a job I love, and one I try to balance with being a mom to the 2 best kids on the planet (I promise my product reviews will be less biased!). I’m married to a great guy who is a filmmaker and also travels for his work but is still an amazing dad and hubby. My life experience is pretty diverse, and I think you’ll find it interesting and relevant to my take on beauty and life as it unfolds in this blog.
Today’s news is sharing a feature article on my collaboration with Wantable.com, an e-commerce company that retails personalized makeup, fashion, and intimate apparel. I’ve been working with them since their inception 2 years ago, helping to build their business model, working as their Senior Beauty Editor, Photo Producer, and overall Creative Consultant to help build their visual look and brand. Jalem Getz , a successful serial entrepreneur, is the founder of this company and has an impressive track record. I feel lucky to be a part of this exciting, growing business and fresh, talented staff.
Here is the article they wrote today about my work with them: “Meet The Brains Behind Wantable Beauty“
Thanks for stopping by, I look forward to hearing from you and sharing our ideas about beauty!
